Ok, so if you don't know... A few months ago a Danish newspaper (Jyllands-Posten) printed several cartoons that portrayed the Prophet (or Profit, as you will) Mohammed. These were found to be totally offensive to the otherwise rational radical Islamists, so they began boycotting Danish products, burning flags, shouting Jihads and otherwise trying to stomp on everyone's freedom of speech. So, recently, this has come up again, as other papers start re-printing them. In the spirit of internet journalism, The Accuser offers them up below.
If we don't reprint these, we are cowards. Let that be a lesson to the American papers that won't show these cartoons.

Noticed that Aljazera under code of ethics have:
"10. Stand by colleagues in the profession and offer them support when required, particularly in light of the acts of aggression and harassment to which journalists are subjected at times. Cooperate with Arab and international journalistic unions and associations to defend freedom of the press."
Will Aljazeera do that towards Jylland Posten?
Understand me, I respect all peoples cultures and religions, including Islam. I have no intentions of provoking or Insulting Muslims.
I think that it is beautiful to have so many different cultures on the Globe.
But I stand on my right to debate and criticize all my enviroment including any religion and Islam.
Otherwise we will end up suppressing people with religion. And through history we have seen terrible examples of that. When Islam is so strong and so true - I can not understand why it is not strong enough to be debated or criticized.
Having things on a debate does not mean that you disrespect it!
I can not be true that writers have to fear different forces refering to Islam when publishing critical texts.

I agree whole-heartedly. But I would add the following: Religious rules cannot supercede the laws of man. That is why all this business of Fatwas and so on need to be dealt with legally. Consider... if you make a written death threat against someone in the United States, that is grounds at least for some kind of prosecution, or a restraining order. Just a thought...
I don't recall the Jews threatening people's lives or rioting over cartoons like these http://www.jcpa.org/phas/phas-21.htm
Perhaps before they try to force us to live up to a standard of tolerance, and try to stifle our freedom of speech, they should take a look at their own actions.
